Amethyst has been aware of Spirit and the need for healing people, animals and Mother Earth since she was a child. Working with her guides, Senegal and Durula - both ancient Tibetans - and Grey Wolf, a very wise old spirit, she also receives help from the angelic realms to give positive guidance to all in need. She runs healing and development circles and raises much-needed money for animal charities through psychic fairs. Using cards or crystal ball when appropriate, Amethyst seeks to provide self-empowering insights with her uplifting, healing readings.

Amethyst lives in Kent, just 10 minutes walk away from the sea. Her atmospheric Victorian house is full of her own psychic artwork and she shares it with her daughter, three rescued cats and two rescued dogs. Lily, her tabby Oriental cat is very psychic. She is attuned to Reiki and likes to sit in on Amethyst`s development circles where she has her own special chair!

What do you most like about giving readings to Star Temple clients?

Helping my clients to find their own unique pathway in life and talking to such lovely people. I feel that more and more people are becoming aware of their own spirituality and higher selves. During a reading my Spirit Guides attune to that awareness to give them the help that they need.

How would you say you are typical of your star sign Cancer?

I am very nurturing and would like to heal all beings throughout the world. Cancerians are family oriented, loving and sensitive - I would say that I am all of these. And my rising Leo makes me want the very best in life, for myself and everyone else.

What would you say to someone who thinks they may have psychic ability?

Start by finding a group near you. It is very important to have help with opening up and closing down, so be sure that you have a good teacher. Meditate. Try using cards - Angel ones are good to begin with, they are very gentle. Or practise psychometry - hold something in your hand and see what impressions you pick up. Above all, whatever you do, bear in mind that you are working for the highest good.
